Bucharest/Romania was host for the multiplier sport event in Kinesis project on Saturday 26 march. The running track of the Sport Club Lia Manoliu was “flooded” with more then 70 children that wanted to show their determination to compete and socialize. Romanian Institute of sport has been the intermediate organisation for this event, bringing toghether kids from schools within Bucharest and Ilfov county as well as experta from Spor Club CSS4, Dinamo and Running club Bucharest.
| During the event, there were organized two activities: – Running 400m and 1600m, masculine, feminine, age groups – Workshop for the presentation of the results of the project and the discussion between stakeholders on possible cooperation issues ✓ The workshop discussions were referring to the initiatives that we can take in order to make changes in the legislation in order to incentives intermediate organisations to get involved. During the workshops all the IOs have been presented ✓ Children also mentioned that sport events like Kinesis should be organized regular and a web-based platform with the profile and results of the winners should be made visible on social media and sport clubs A total of 86 people has participated in this event (35 males and 51 females) representing 8 schools, 5 organisations and 1 sport club. We have awarded medals for the first three places in each category and age group . All other children received diploma of participation. PE teachers received certificate of attendance of the workshop and sport event . Fruits and sweets were offered as well as water for hydration. We have rented a bus for transportation from the school in Chitila, an underprivileged village near Bucharest |
